Construction
What you told us
Feedback from Stage 1 consultation demonstrated that 80.4% of respondents either support or strongly support improved provisions and enforcement mechanisms to ensure construction sites are appropriately managed, with construction impacts cited as one of the most frequent, and consistent concerns from respondents.
Issues raised included damage to roads, footpaths, kerbs and nature strips, construction debris on roads, poor site cleanliness, congestion from trucks, blocked footpaths, noise, drainage and stormwater issues, and the need for greater accountability from builders.
