To increase safety and access, low level lighting is proposed for the sections of the Bay Trail that don’t currently have lighting.

We will remove some older style lighting, retaining pole lighting at connecting streets and walkthroughs.

The new lighting will be energy efficient with consistent designs across the precinct. We will also seek to reduce glare and spill that may impact surrounding homes.
