Works completed

We are pleased to announce that all major construction works are now completed.

Our contractors, Balmain and Co have worked hard over January to complete the crossovers on Edith Street, East Concourse and the central car park. New sculptured, concrete seats have been placed alongside new waste bins and benches throughout the concourse.

The Concourse Green showcases new benches, platform seating benches and urban seating. In the evening, you will notice new feature uplights beneath the trees near the sculptured seating throughout the concourse.

Finishing touches

In February, we will complete the finishing touches on the works and Council will go over any defects carefully with the contractor, as is the usual practice with construction projects.

Electrical works and inspections will also be completed in February. Other activities, such as tactile installation on the footpaths, will occur without disruption to traders or vehicular traffic.
