Draft Climate Emergency Action Pan now open for comment

9 June 2020

We are now inviting comment on the draft Climate Emergency Action Plan.

During the initial engagement in February and March 2020 we heard from over 2,900 people. This information, along with online workshops was used to inform the development of the draft Climate Emergency Action Plan. The plan has been divided into seven themes:

  • Build the foundations
  • Mobilise with our community
  • Move to zero carbon transport
  • Transform to a climate responsive built environment
  • Protect and enhance our natural environment
  • Transition to a circular economy to avoid waste
  • Switch to zero carbon energy

You can review the draft Action Plan online. Please provide your feedback using our online survey.

Consultation closes Sunday 26 July at 5pm.
