Project updates
Safer biking through Sandringham
We’re proposing to improve the bike path connecting Sandringham Train Station and Sandringham Family Leisure Centre. This approximately 4km route will connect new and existing bike paths to improve safety for riders of all ages and abilities, as well as other road users.
Expanding Bayside’s bike path network is designed to link bicycle routes to community services, schools, sports grounds, shopping precincts and railway stations. This project aims to encourage greater community participation in riding and walking as set out in our Bayside Bicycle Action Plan 2019 and Bayside 2050 Community Vision.
We’d like your feedback on the proposed stage one plans.
