At its June meeting, Council adopted the Economic Development, Tourism and Placemaking Strategy following consideration of community feedback.

The new Strategy will help to inform initiatives, decisions and deliverables for local businesses and the community, and foster partnerships with service groups. It will provide support for events, and manage initiatives to attract visitors, and maintain and enhance the liveability and beautification of the local area and create a roadmap for precinct development.
