<p>There are currently 86 bathing boxes at Dendy Street Beach. Two more bathing boxes will be built by the end of 2013.</p> <p>At times there have been up to 120 bathing boxes along the beach.</p> <p>The location of additional bathing boxes is somewhat limited by ecological and inundation considerations.</p> <p>The draft Master Plan identifies areas south of Norwood Avenue where a further 10 bathing boxes are proposed to be constructed.</p> <p>The new bathing boxes would be constructed by Council and sold to private owners, netting up to $150,000 each. These funds are proposed to be used to improve Dendy Street Beach, including construction of the new life saving facility and refurbishment of public toilets.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Do you think constructing additional bathing boxes on Dendy Street Beach to fund infrastructure improvements at the beach is a good idea?
