Redeveloping the site of the Brighton Life Saving Club and public amenities

<p>The Brighton Life Saving Club and public amenities buildings are due for redevelopment.  The draft master plan is proposing replacing both of these buildings with a new facility that will provide more space to the Life Saving Club, new toilets and change rooms and possibly a small commercial cafe.</p> <p>It is important that the new facility provides additional space to meet the needs of a modern Life Saving Club but also that it’s appropriate to the surrounding environment.  The draft master plan proposes the facility is set back in the site so that space can be created for public use, emergency vehicle parking and access, and the views the panorama from the beach.</p> <ul> <li><strong>What do you think about the proposed new facility that includes the Life Saving Club, public amenities and possible small cafe/gift kiosk?  </strong></li> <li><strong>How do you feel about setting the building back to create space and views?</strong></li> </ul>
