Council adopts Graffiti Management Policy 2024-28
Graffiti Management Policy has been adopted by Council at its June meeting.
We've sought community feedback on our draft Graffiti Management Policy 2024-28, which outlines our plan for how we can work together with our community to better tackle illegal graffiti in Bayside and ensure our public spaces can be enjoyed by all who live, work and visit.
We know that graffiti vandalism not only affects the visual appearance of neighbourhoods, it can influence the community’s sense of safety and have an impact on our local economy. Graffiti is also costly for communities and property owners to remove and prevent.
The consultation closed on 19 May 2024. Council adopted the Graffiti Management Policy 2024–28 at its June 18 2024 meeting.
