Feasibility and Concept design for the potential Multi-deck commuter car park in Hampton

10 August 2021

In 2019, the Federal Government announced $4 million to be directed to providing additional commuter car parking in Hampton.

Since this time, Council has been exploring with the State and Federal Governments the appropriate site where this can occur. To date, the only feasible location identified is the existing car park beside the Hampton Library in Service Street.

Council has been progressing a draft concept design for the car park and exploring the feasibility. The outcomes of this work are to be presented to the Council Meeting scheduled for 17 August 2021.

A copy of the report will be available no later than the Friday prior to the Council Meeting at the Corporate Centre, all Bayside libraries and on Council’s website: bayside.vic.gov.au/councilmeetings
