What you told us about health and wellbeing in Bayside

22 April 2021

A big thank you to every one of the 212 people who took part in our survey for Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan (MPHWP) 2021-2025.

Your feedback better helped us understand the biggest opportunities to improve health and wellbeing in Bayside and identify the barriers.

We received feedback in a variety of ways, including an open survey on our Have Your Say website; a printed survey distributed through Bayside libraries; Ideas walls located at Sandringham and Beaumaris libraries; targeted video meetings and online workshops and engagement via social media.

Feedback from the first stage of community consultation has been analysed and a report on the results is available to view here. On this page, we’ve summarised the comments and highlighted how your feedback has helped us to identify the areas of health and wellbeing that should be prioritised by Council.

We are now working through the ideas we collected during community engagement with our local agencies and organisations. We’ll also use this opportunity to generate solutions for achieving improved health and wellbeing before we begin preparing the draft plan. We will open feedback again for the draft plan as part of the deliberative engagement process in July-August 2021.

We will present the final Plan to Council for adoption at its 26 October 2021 meeting.
