Do you have any comments about this Asset Management Plan? And how Council is currently managing its Road Assets?

All I see is just another plan or draft that never sees the light of day.

Yes, I have comments. Thanks for asking. Was there ever a Plan...? The only Plan I have seen is to blindly Overdevelop and Overcrowd the entire Bayside Area. The Council is simply NOT managing road assets. They simply cannot manage roads. Look at Highett Road, Tibrockney Street, Graham Road... all in a terrible state. Its not hard to find them all. I don't have the time or the energy to list them all. I guess we are going to waste even MORE money on a plan that will eventually do nothing. Overcrowded Roads and Streets and deterioration of roads will continue regardless. There is a general rule that applies here. The rule of failure to plan at all. Lets follow History.

I see the Plan as a positive contribution to Council transparency and community engagement. But I cannot claim to have understood its ramifications! There does not seem to be a clear statement of strategic priorities - the Moloney Modelling looks impressive, but I have not understood how that relates to priority-setting. Is Appendix 1, by way of example, an Action Plan?
