Royal Avenue Tennis Centre lease renewed

At the 17 March 2026 meeting, Council, in accordance with Section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act), authorised the Director of Corporate Services to execute a lease with Carmac Holdings Pty Ltd ATF Tim McKimm Family Trust for the Royal Avenue Tennis Centre on the following terms:

  • Licensee Name: Carmac Holdings Pty Ltd ATF Tim McKimm Family Trust
  • Rent: $115,000 per annum (plus GST)
  • Leased Site: Royal Avenue Tennis Centre, 30 Royal Avenue Sandringham
  • Term: 9 years and 9 months
  • Commencement date: 1 March 2025
  • Expiry date: 30 November 2034
  • Further term: not applicable
  • Rent review: Annual CPI & market review Year 5
  • Security deposit: 6 months’ rent plus GST
  • Specified purpose: public tennis facility and associated activities
