Have your say on playground upgrades

6 November 2019

What makes a great playground? That’s the question we want your answers to as we plan upgrades to another eight playgrounds across Bayside next year.

We want you to be involved in designing fabulous new playgrounds that can be enjoyed for many years to come.

Council will spend $10.3million on upgrades to all of Bayside’s playgrounds over 10 years. You can have your say on what you want to see in:

Along with the playground upgrade planned for Royal Avenue Park we're also proposing to install a new accessible public toilet and upgrade the tennis court lighting at Royal Avenue Tennis Centre. Find out more here.

Council will be holding drop-in sessions for playground users on weekdays and weekends where you can give us your ideas about what your kids enjoy about the playgrounds and what you’d like to see improved.

Initial drop in sessions will be held in November, with plans coming back to the community for consultation and works in 2020.

Fill in a short survey with your ideas for each playground by clicking through each tab on the main project page or have your say in person. Details for each drop in session are available on the survey pages.
