It's time to upgrade the Thomas Street playground and we need your help to design it!

We are looking for volunteers between the ages of 1 - 12 to visit the following four playgrounds and report back what they like, how they think the playground could be improved and how they would use the playground with friends who may have a disability.

  • Thomas Street Reserve playground, Thomas Street, Hampton
  • North Road foreshore playground, North Road, Brighton (recently upgraded)
  • Dendy Park South Playground, Dacey Street entrance, Brighton East (recently upgraded)
  • Booran Reserve playground, Booran Road, Glenhunty (new playground)

Except for Thomas Street, these playgrounds have been upgraded recently. This feedback will help inform the design for the new Thomas Street playground.

Keep track of your notes using the Playground Tester Booklet available to download here. Return to this page when you have visited all four playgrounds and answer the questions below. This will take 10 - 15 minutes.

We also want to hear about what the perfect playground would look like. This will help us know what to include in the new design for Thomas Street. Visit the main project page to share your big ideas.
