It is proposed to define this centre as a Small Neighbourhood Activity Centre to acknowledge and protect its role in providing daily conveniences and local services. Height limits in this centre are proposed to increase from 2 to 3 storeys. This centre is currently zoned Mixed Use which provides for a range of residential, commercial, industrial and other uses. It is proposed to change this to Commercial 1 Zone which allows retail, office, business, entertainment, community and residential use. New development on the main street of the centre may not be supported if it does not provide views into its ground floor. Further information in the Design Profile
