It is proposed to define this centre as a Small Activity Centre (Highway Oriented) to acknowledge and protect its role in providing retail/commercial uses that require a high exposure/main road location. Height limits in this centre are proposed to increase from 2 to 4 storeys. This centre is currently zoned Commercial 1 Zone which allows retail, office, business, entertainment, community and residential use. There is no change proposed to the zoning of this centre.
